Namaskaram, I hope you all are healthy and doing well in your life.
I also hope that you must have read my previous blog (The Choice between Complaints, Learnig and Handling ) and while reading it, you must have got many questions in your mind, out of which you may have got answers of some questions. And perhaps one of them must have been the question "What is the biggest reason of our misery in the world?" If we pay attention then it is an important question for us that life is not going as we want.
See, if you have paid attention to yourself and the people around you, then you must have seen that most of us are unhappy because of some other person, whether he is our friend or partner or spouse or a member of our family. .
Because when we have an extreme attachment to one person, then naturally we start hating many other people. Although all of us may have our own reasons for this, perhaps the real reason is somewhat different.
Let us ask ourselves a question "Is it easy to change our thinking or the world?" Obviously it is easy to change your thinking. So now the question is that when our thoughts are so important to us, have we taken the power of our thinking into our hands? The answer is "no". We are just fallen from our world of fame.
Think what will happen if all our dreams are fulfilled? Surely we will end because our expectations are born out of the limited scenery of life. Therefore, if we want to achieve something greater in our physical life, then we should not expect. Lack of hope does not mean that we do not have direction. We just have to move in some direction without counting it all the time. On the contrary, if we have expectations, we mostly waste our intensity in unnecessary thoughts, as a result of which we will not be able to go far.
See, hope is dominating us because from childhood, when we are about 3-4 years old, people often start asking us what will become of us when we grow up? Apart from this, the expectations that our parents have given us since childhood are mostly far from the truth, which turns out to be bad for both us and our parents.
Along with this,"One reason for our unhappiness is that we seek happiness in our future tomorrow and not in today."
Suppose we have a wish for ourselves in the future and if it is not fulfilled then we are more sad as well as the strength of our hope becomes stronger. And conversely, suppose we are in bliss right now and we want something to happen. Now we try for it but what if it goes away instead of being completed? So it will not hurt us much because we are happy.
That is, when we try to do anything in the world without improving ourselves, we mostly get sadness. Lord Shri Krishna has also said in Srimad Bhagavad Gita-
"Yogastha: Kuru Karmani"
That is, 'Settle in yoga and then work' (Perform your duty and abandon all attachment to success or failure. Such equality of mind is called Yoga).
Now the question is, what to do so that we do not experience grief?
You just do it. Forget what you want from this world or from people or from yourself. First understand that whatever happens inside you, you will decide yourself, only you. As a result, you will start choosing to be happy yourself. Because when we go behind anything with pleasure, then it will most likely be true and even if it is not done then you will not make much difference.
We are young now so it is time to establish ourselves and not run away with any hope.
Thank you.
